Our client located in the San Francisco Bay area is in need of a Medical Therapy Physicist full time. A hospital based practice that treats 100 patients per day with 25 consultations per week. There is plenty of staff on hand to help as they have 13 RTTs, 4 Dosimetrists and 4 RNs. They also have 6 Radiation Oncologists on staff.
Experience with Varian 21 is helpful. VariSource HDR and a GE Simulator are used. TPS is Varian Eclipse. 5 years experience and ABR Certification is preferred and a BS and MS degree is required.

Radiation Oncology Department seeks highly motivated Master's level Radiation Oncology Physicist. Board Certification and two years experience in radiation oncology physics is a plus.
Applicants must be able to establish a physics program for the hospital that meets all state, federal, and NRC guidelines. Primary responsibilities include all phases of clinical medical physics, treatment planning, weekly chart checks, machine calibration, staff education, new program implementation, quality assurance, participation in new equipment acceptance testing and participation in the Radiation Safety Program.
Current equipment includes a Varian 1800 linear accelerator, a Varian simulator, a CMS Focus treatment planning system, and a RIT system. The brachytherapy program includes low dose rate brachytherapy and ultrasound guided prostate seed implant.
A new Cancer Center, completed in Spring 2004, has new equipment including a new Varian 21EX linear accelerator (with 120 MLC, portal vision, and Varis), a new GE High speed QX/1 CT simulator, and a new Eclipse treatment planning system with IMRT capabilities. They also have a new HDR system.

Our client in western Texas is currently in search of a Chief Physicist. Candidate must possess 5-7 years of experience, be a team player and ABR Certified. A Masters degree or PhD is required. This position will report directly to the administrator. Candidate must be able to hit the ground running. Exposure to Eclipse and Aria is preferred.
They possess 2 linear accelerators, both Varian, are doing stereotactic, OBI, respiratory gate, HDR, Brachytherapy, PET/CT. This is a hospital setting where teaching and research are performed.
Their current staff includes 1 RadOnc with another joining shortly, Dosimetrist, 4 RTT.
