    Our client in Illinois seeks to hire a Radiation Oncologist to grow and develop their hospital radiation oncology program. The Radiation Oncologist will join the Health System’s Cancer Team of three Medical Oncologists. The Health System has a direct university affiliation agreement, which affords a teaching opportunity to the Radiation Oncologist, if he/she elects. .

    Practice Details
    The Radiation Oncology Department plays a major role in the multi-disciplinary approach for cancer care. The department is growing with exceptional patient satisfaction scores and an outstanding support team. The department has been recognized for excellence and is currently certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

    A wide variety of treatment options are offered, including state-of-the-art technology with IMRT. PET/CT, HDR/LDR, in which to deliver specialized radiation treatments for each patient’s individual needs.

    The Health System was the first health care system in the city to offer IMRT treatments. In addition to IMRT capabilities, the linear accelerator delivers dual-energy photons in order to treat 3-D conformal planned fields and other standard therapies.
