  • Details: Prestigious Hematology Oncology Group Seeks Hematologist/Oncologist for Growing Practice.

    Our client is a prestigious group of five (5) hematologists/oncologists. Collectively, the group has decades of experience in the treatment of cancer and blood diseases and are widely recognized throughout the area as experts in their field.

    This is an opportunity to work with senior physician for a period of two (2) years for a salary based on experience. Partnership is offered after two (2) years and partial or total assumption of the senior physicians’ large practice upon his retirement. Rotate call with the group and cover senior physicians’ weekends and daily hospital rounds.

    Practice Information (based on senior physicians practice only):

    -One office location with all services rendered in-house;
    -Group currently rounds at four (4) hospitals;
    -10-12 new consults per week;
    -114 chemo patients per week;
    -5-8 inpatients per day;
    -650 follow-up per week;
    -Monday-Friday on-call for your own patients;
    -1:3 on-call rotation with three (3) other physicians;
    -Located in Cancer Center on the campus of St. Agnes Medical Center;
    -On-site Radiation Therapy;
    -Chemo Drugs mixed in drug room;
    -On-site chest x-ray;
    -On-site lab;
    -Blood Bank located within three (3) miles;
    -EMR will begin In August 2012;
    -Participate in Clinical Trials (five (5) in place);
    -14 RN’s;
    -One (1) LPN;
    -One (1) Data Collector; and
    -65 staff members in total.


    Financial Package and Benefits: The recruited physician will step into a financially sound and busy practice that is thriving through referrals within the group and community.

    This is an employed position for the two (2) years offering a guaranteed base commensurate with training and experience. Partnership is offered after two (2) years and partial or total assumption of the senior physicians’ large practice upon his retirement.

    Comprehensive benefits package includes: health, dental malpractice insurance, retirement plan, four weeks vacation/CME, and much more.

    60 % Medicare, 1% Medicaid, 1% self pay, and 38% private pay.

  • Details: Premier Community Based Cancer Center Seeks Hematologist/Oncologist for Growing Multi-Disciplinary Group.

    Our client seeks a Hematologist/Oncologist to establish a new comprehensive Cancer Center. The disciplines within the practice are Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Breast Surgery. .

    Large infusion area includes 12 chemo chairs and six private rooms with hospital beds. Staff includes: three oncology certified nurses, one office manager, one data collector, one pharmacy tech, two phlebotomist/lab techs, five billing personnel and front office staff. This practice is also recruiting for a nurse practitioner.

    Location: Virgin Islands
  • Coverage: Wonderful private practice opportunity in the US Virgin Islands for a physician Board Certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology with 2+ years of experience. Our client has an immediate need to find a physician who can cover her practices in St. Thomas and St. Croix beginning in 2011. Each office has 4 chemo chairs and 2 chemo nurses. This is a permanent position.

    The practice on average sees 6 new consults per week; 20 chemo patients per week; 2 inpatients per day; and 25 follow-ups per week. Call is very light.

    Client is offering a salary of $250-275K depending on experience. Bonus and partnership are negotiable. Benefits include malpractice, family health and dental insurance; retirement plan; and relocation assistance. Vacation and CME time is negotiable.
