Julie McGowan Lux, Director & Owner
Julie is the Director and Owner of Cancer CarePoint, Inc., a nationally recognized firm dedicated to oncology-specific recruiting since 1994. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience and 15 years in the oncology-specific recruiting industry, Julie has developed an expertise in the placement of physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, and nurses into institutional leadership, clinical and clinical faculty positions. After founding Cancer CarePoint in 1994 as a woman-owned operation, the firm grew through conduct of literally hundreds of assignments and searches each year for clients throughout the country. Julie's commitment to managing all aspects of the search process through client defined needs, including candidate recruitment, interviewing and negotiations, has resulted in Cancer CarePoint achieving top retention rates among placed candidates. Knowledgeable about current trends in the oncology industry for hospitals and clinical staff alike, Julie delivers exceptionally qualified candidates. Additionally, in her role as Director, she effectively merges her extensive management and healthcare expertise to successfully identify and evaluate the skills and competence of the healthcare executive.
Julie works extensively nationwide to provide healthcare professionals with intermediate and long-standing recruiting solutions in accordance with individual physicians, large group practices, academic medical centers, cancer centers, governmental and hospital clients. In conjunction with her broad range of recruit and client interactions, Julie possesses more than 20 years of management experience highlighted by relationship building, product and account management, and a broad range of successful professional placements. Benjamin J. Priore, Marketing Coordinator: Radiation Oncology
Benjamin Priore began his career with Cancer CarePoint in 2005, bringing with him 7 years of sales, marketing, and consulting experience. His initial position with our company was in the role of physician recruiter, where he has been able to develop close ties with the physician segment and uncover trends in their field. Benjamin earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Marketing, and he also has his Master's of Business Administration from Georgia State University with a double concentration in International Business and Organizational Management. Mr. Priore’s work experience allows him to make genuine and beneficial connections between clients and providers. Whether working with private practice, freestanding, academic, or hospital-based clientele to fulfill their needs, Mr. Priore's past and present experience provides excellent results. In addition, he enjoys the niche community of Radiation Oncology, as it has allowed him to forge strong, lasting relationships with many in the industry. As Marketing Manager, Benjamin hopes to stay connected with solo, group, and institutional coverage needs and work with his team to deliver quality services.
Carla Ham, Radiation Oncology Recruiter
Carla Ham has over 12 years in the recruiting industry along with 18 years of corporate, business development and client relations experience. This experience has proven to be a rich foundation for her career in recruiting/human resources and it provides a palpable value to the business relationships that she has fostered with both CCP's clients and recruits. Since 2004, she has had the pleasure of serving on the Radiation Oncology Locums team as both the marketer and the recruiter. Sarah Roe, Marketing Coordinator: Medical Oncology, Medical Physics & Dosimetry
Sarah Roe is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Marketing. After serving as a marketing director with a physical therapy firm in Florida, she joined the Cancer CarePoint team in 1997 tasked with the role of establishing the Medical Oncology Division. Since that time, she has assisted more than a 200 clients with their staffing needs in her role as a Client Advocate. Her active management philosophy of servicing client relationships identifies issues in the client recruiting process before they become problems that threaten the viability of the client's business and their potential recruits. More than 10 years since beginning her partnership with Cancer CarePoint, Sarah proudly continues to contribute to the firm's reputation for delivering recruiting solutions of the highest quality and continuity in the Allied Health and Medical Oncology marketplaces.
LaQueshette Morris, Medical Oncology, Medical Physics & Dosimetry Recruiter
LaQueshette "Q" Morris is Cancer CarePoint's Medical Oncology, Medical Physics & Dosimetry locum tenens recruiter. She has been with the company since 2005. LaQueshette has earned at Bachelors Degree in Managerial Science at Georgia State University. With almost 10 years of customer service experience with a focus in both customer behavior and purchase fulfillment, LaQueshette brings a skill set filled with productive interaction and a true ability to uncover individual pursuits that can be matched to meet their specialized needs.
Cam Stark, Account Executive
Cam Stark has specialized in the physician and allied health recruiting industry since 1994. She brings with her an extensive medical background in nursing and management. She has worked in all aspects of the medical world since 1971. Most recently she has specialized in placing Allied Health Professionals nationwide from locum tenens to permanent placement. Cam has been called "genuine" by many of her clients and candidates. She maintains and builds her relationships through direct honesty setting forth realistic expectations.
